Installing or Upgrading to UCCX 10.6.1 SU1?

Are you trying to upgrade UCCX from X version to 10.6.1 SU1 or doing a Fresh Install of 10.6.1 SU1? If yes, then be cautious about the error you may receive while installing or upgrading the UCCX Subscriber. You Publisher install or upgrade will be successful but however you will receive an error while installing or upgrading subscriber.

Upgrade to 10.6.1 SU1

If you are upgrading UCCX to 10.6.1 SU1, when you try to switch-version so that 10.6.1 can take effect, you will receive an error “Operation Failed   Error: Node 1 (Publisher) info is not available on Node 2 (Subscriber). Verify if the cluster configuration is correct. Switch version is completed
Installation of 10.6.1 SU1 –

If you are installing UCCX 10.6.1 SU1 Subscriber, during the installation, you will get an error “newrpm –percent -iv –replacefiles –nodeps/common/rpm-archive/” and this will halt the installation no matter how many times you re-try the installation from scratch.

You are hitting a bug (CSCuw65303) which is creating a problem while installing Node 2. You need to contact Cisco TAC immediately to get the issue resolved. TAC will make some changes on 10.6.1 SU1 Publisher by taking console using root and it will fix the issue.

Hope this helps!!
